Medievalis
A journey into the atmosphere of the Middle Ages
During Medievalis, the historic center of Pontremoli changes its face: re-enactors in costume, markets, musicians, flag-wavers and shows bring the atmosphere of another era back to the streets and squares. The Piagnaro Castle and the city’s vistas provide the backdrop for a re-enactment to be experienced while walking, letting yourself be surprised by encounters and performances.
The event commemorates the granting of the diploma of Free Commune to Pontremoli by Emperor Frederick II in 1226: an opportunity to get closer to local history through an engaging experience.
Bancarel’Vino
The pleasure of meeting, amidst wine glasses and traditions
In the village of Mulazzo, Bancarel’Vino celebrates wine and typical local products. Tastings allow you to meet the producers and get to know their labels, while gastronomic offerings, markets and music accompany the visit through the streets and squares of the town.
Founded in 1983, the event combines an oenological competition with conviviality: an invitation to discover local flavors and spend an evening in the atmosphere of the village in celebration.
